HRBuffalo SMS Privacy Policy

This policy explains how HRBuffalo Services, L.P. (“HRBuffalo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information associated with text messages. It supplements our general Privacy Policy.

1. Information we collect

If you opt in to receive texts, we may collect your mobile number; name and contact details; messages sent to and from us; message dates, times, and delivery information; and records of consent and opt-out requests.

2. How we use SMS information

We use this information to send communications you agreed to receive, respond to questions, coordinate consultations and services, manage opt-outs, maintain records, and meet applicable legal and operational requirements. Texts may concern scheduling, requested HR or consulting services, and related client communications.

3. Consent

You receive HRBuffalo texts when you provide your mobile number and affirmatively consent to SMS communications. On a Website form, any SMS consent choice is optional and separate from submitting the form, accepting Website terms, or consenting to other communications. A checkbox used for SMS consent is not preselected. Providing your number alone is not consent. SMS consent is not a condition of receiving services.

4. Opting out and assistance

Reply STOP to opt out. You may receive one confirmation text. Reply HELP for assistance, email info@hrbuffalo.com, or call 716.402.6614.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

5. Sharing

We may use communications providers and carriers to deliver and manage messages on our behalf. We do not sell SMS information. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and messaging consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. HRBuffalo SMS consent is not transferred to another brand for that brand’s marketing.

6. Retention and security

We retain SMS information, including consent records and message logs, as reasonably needed to provide services, maintain records, address disputes, and comply with legal obligations. We take reasonable steps to protect it, although no system is completely secure.

7. Your choices, updates, and contact

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain information as applicable by contacting us. We may update this policy by posting a revised effective date.
