New York Minimum Wage and Salary Threshold
New York’s minimum wage has steadily been increasing up to $15.00 per hour over the last several years.
For the rest of New York State, the minimum wage has been $13.20 since December 31, 2021. The Director of the Division of the Budget, in consultation with NYSDOL, is expected to continue publishing further increases until the $15.00 level is reached.
Increases for December 31, 2022 have not yet been announced but are expected soon.
