Who is Christa?

Christa is a seasoned professional who has spent her entire career in the field of human resources. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Studies from State University of New York College at Buffalo and has leveraged her expertise primarily in the financial services, not-for-profit, and human services industries. Christa believes in making a difference in organizations by investing in people, ensuring the HR foundation is strong so that employees may thrive.

Christa started her career in banking, spending over 16 years at local banks to include M&T Bank, in a variety of positions managing payroll processing, benefit administration, recruitment, relocation services, business partnership, workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, and training. She held several leadership roles throughout this time, and she then transitioned into the not-for-profit environment at the Food Bank of WNY where she led the organization’s human resources function for almost 8 years. Most recently, Christa was Director, Human Resources at Person Centered Services responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources for the organization.

Christa enjoys interacting with clients, getting to know the details of the people aspects, learning the organization’s strengths and areas of opportunities, and helping them move forward in a positive way by providing the right advice and support.

Outside the Office

Outside of work Christa has been passionate about supporting not-for-profit organizations and was a former Board Member, Personnel Committee Member and past Chair of Committee for Meals on Wheels for Western New York, Inc. She has volunteered for numerous events at the Food Bank of WNY and supports White Whiskers Senior Dog Sanctuary. Christa enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, traveling, reading, and attending concerts and the theater.”
